So here’s a post that is not about cars. I was surfing the web yesterday and ran into my own website. Always a treat. But it gave me the impression I have done little else than slide cars on ice, look at cars from strange angles and driven cars on maffia turf. So I checked my weblog against my calendar and it seems there are a lot of omissions. I’ve been working on an iPad presentation tool together with web maestro Sander Tiekstra. As soon as we can we will show you some results. The visual identity of Drents Archief is also coming along nicely and will be available for a sneak preview soon. Then there’s the CBK Groningen for whom I will be an external advisor for the second time running. A project about the heart of the city needs a gifted student from Groningen. None of these involve cars. Just wanted to let you know.

To remind me of the importance of top of mind positioning this happened: my iPhone died. I expressed my anguish about the situation on Twitter (pathetic, but useful). Rudo Menge read it and offered me to use his old iPhone. As a result of this I had a top of mind position in his head when it came to a project he was asked to pitch for together with Martijn Halie of Pek & Veren fame. So we had a nice morning brainstorming (yes, I know it rhymes) and came up with a pitch for Drents Archief. 7 days later we pitched our idea. 1 day after that we got the call: selected unanimously. Can I get a oooh, oooh?

Het jaarverslag 2007 voor Agentschap Telecom moest een enorme sprong vooruit worden ten opzichte van wat er voorgaande jaren gebeurd was. Een ambitieus idee om de werkzaamheden van het Agentschap te vangen in video en online te plaatsen werd uitgewerkt.
